Randstad has multiple opportunities for skilled Mechanical Fitters for new builds of underground mining equipment and other workshop duties based in the Lake Macquarie region. For star candidates, these may turn into full time, permanent positions. What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience with mechanical assembly and / or maintenance preferred
Dogging and forklift ticket highly regarded but not essential
Great work ethic and commitment to seeing a project through to the end
Have reliable transport
Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
$49 - $51 / hour casual rate
Day shift Monday - Friday with overtime available
Early finish Friday's
Permanent placements available for the right candidates
