About the role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic consultant who will have strengths in energy, climate change and engineering to join our team. The position is based in Melbourne, Australia. We allow for flexible work arrangements and the position title and remuneration will be based on level of experience.
In this role, you will be required to:
Deliver high quality, accurate, complete, analytical and timely work
Produce work to high standard for input into project deliverables
Responsive, honest, positive and effective communicator
Manage delivery of your tasks against your budget allocation
Require oversight and management
Client facing with support
Begin to develop networks, contact and professional brand
Our ideal candidate has:
A relevant engineering or environmental science degree
Post graduate studies in energy, climate change and/or sustainability desirable but not essential.
Between 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience; consulting experience well regarded.
Comfort with a fast-paced, client-oriented environment, including critical thinking skills on environment and sustainability problems.
Ability to liaise effectively and communicate with a range of stakeholders to build client relationships and grow business development opportunities.
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including advanced MS Excel skills.
Previous project management experience across multi-disciplinary teams required.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, including clients.
Eagerness to capacity build, grow, and challenge your team.
