About the Client and Role
An exciting new startup is looking for a Software Engineer with excellent mathematical modeling skills. This is a role where you will work closely with the Engineering Manager and team leads to build world-class software products for release to their specialist market.
Experience and skills
The ideal candidate will have most of the following experience:
Solid mathematics and problem-solving skills, ideally in the application of geometric modeling, physics simulation, CAD, or computer graphics
Experience with developing desktop applications using WPF
Experience with building service-oriented systems based on web standards e.g., RESTful services
Good knowledge of C# programming language and .NET/.NET Core framework
Good understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms, concurrency, and inter-process communication patterns
Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent, or appropriate work-based experience
Experience in PC/console games development or development of software using games engines.
