Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Barber to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our salon. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on the shop floor, demonstrating exceptional barbering skills and a strong ability to deliver a wide range of grooming services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling with precision and creativity.
- Stay current on industry trends and techniques to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and a personable approach.
- Mentor and guide junior barbers, sharing knowledge and expertise to elevate the skill level of the team.
- Manage and organise the work station, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Keep accurate records of client preferences and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the salon management team to contribute ideas for promotions, events, and improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Barber in a salon or barbershop setting.
Relevant Qualification attained at college or private course
- Proficient in a variety of cutting and styling techniques for diverse hair types.
- Strong knowledge of current grooming trends and industry best practices.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
