Castlebar Construction Group requires a Carpenter in Brisbane on a full time basis.
Duties include:
• Reading of drawings/plans and advising the companies of materials required to complete the work.
• Fit and install all timber components, trussed rafters, loose cut roofs, hand cut roofs, floor joisting, stud walls, door frames, doors, windows, staircases and all 1st fix joinery which is done prior to plaster boarding and skimming.
• Cut and fix skirting using scribed internal joints, mitred external joints, scarf joints, pelleted hardwoods, architraves, hang doors with planed leading edge and correct clearance, stair balustrades, cill boards, picture and dado rails, fitted kitchen units and worktops, pipe boxing and all 2nd fix joinery normally done prior to painting.
• Fit and install final fix components such as rebate locks, mortice locks, sash locks, rim locks, door closers, flush bolts, key cylinders
• Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are followed on site especially with the use of power tools
Salary will be between $30 to $40 per hour depending on experience.
Must have at least 3 years experience as a Carpenter.
