To support our growing teams, we are seeking an experienced People Experience Business Partner who is passionate about people. It is an exciting time for the GYG People Experience Team as we are going through a significant period of growth, redefining the road map for people experience at GYG.
We have big goals for the next 12 months, meaningful people projects to deliver, and are fortunate to work with best-in-class systems and technology.
The role:
- Partner with leaders, and their teams, to proactively support across a variety of ER/ IR matters
- Provide advice and assistance to ensure compliance to relevant awards and enterprise agreements
- Generate and analyse people experience metrics to influence and drive decision making
- Provide education and coaching within business unit to support the development of high performing teams
- Work closely with head office teams and operations to build capability, talent map and succession plan
- Contribute to reimagining and updating of core resources, systems, policies, and procedures
- Contribute to the development of retention, reward, and recognition programs, embedding current and future initiatives
- Run and manage bi-annual engagement survey
- Contribute to developing and implementing people experience strategy
- Lead people experience projects
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role
- Sound IR experience
- Proactive and consultative approach to ER
- Ability to partner and integrate into an operational environment
- Fresh ideas and concepts to improve people experience
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, manufacturing/ FMCG environment ideal, but not essential

The salary banding for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 per annum.
