Your new role We are seeking a CNC Technical Engineer with experience in 3 and 5 axis milling and multitasking lathes, twin spindle and twin turret machining. The right candidate will be a factory trained technician for key OEMs such as Fanuc, Makino, Nakamura-Tome, Hyundai, Breton, Lagun and Geminis. One technical support role is available in New South Wales and another role is available in Victoria. Commitment to continual learning and development, local travel, as well as a willingness to provide superior client experience are essential attributes for the right candidate. Job tasks and responsibilities

This role is specifically for maintenance, installation and repair work of CNC machine tools.
Provide CNC technical support to our clients, preferably experience with our key CNC brands such as Fanuc, Makino, Nakamura-Tome, Breton, Hyundai and more.
A willingness to expand technical support skills across the Headland product range.
A willingness to travel to customer sites across Australia if required.
Build and maintain positive service relationships with Headland customers, to ensure superior client experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a genuine commitment to a high-level of customer service.

What you'll need to succeed

Five years' minimum experience in a similar Service Technician role is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude for machine tools.
A willingness to learn new skills by undertaking training in the machinery we sell and service.
The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Experience and technical knowledge of CNC machines is essential.
Specific OEM factory training is highly desired and will be an advantage.
