Our client based out in Dandenong South is a leading player in the chemical and polymers industry, dedicated to innovation and excellence. They are currently seeking a Site Manager to oversee their operations & production department, as well as ensuring efficiency, safety, and staff development. The shift times for this role be flexible Day Shift Monday to Friday 6am - 4pm. Key Responsibilities:

Implementing and maintaining EH&S protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Oversee compliance with Rapid, 5S, EPA, WorkSafe, and Global FM standards.
Be involved with running daily toolbox meetings assigning employees their tasks for the day
Prioritize the health and safety of all employees through rigorous safety measures and training programs.
Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Implement and oversee Market Requirements Documents and Kanban recommendations for streamlined operations.
Embrace change within the company and effectively integrate new products into operations.
Ability to raise performance through a "hands on" approach to leadership
Adapt strategies and processes to accommodate evolving business needs.
Being on the production floor with the Sales Team to see how products are coming along in a timely manner
Manage inventory, storage, and dispatch processes for seamless logistics.
Assist with daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of new and old products for all stakeholders within the company.
Ensure on-time and accurate delivery through monitoring DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time).
Lead and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed timely and within budget.
Maintain an 80-20 mindset, focusing efforts on the most impactful initiatives.
Mentor employees to enhance their skills, productivity, and job satisfaction.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

About you:

Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Manager in a Warehouse or Production industry
Previous experience working in a FMCG/Chemical/Food Environment
Qualification/Certificate in OH&S - advantageous but not essential;
Previous experience managing P&L and budget reporting
Australian Drivers License
Strong computer skills - ERP/WMS is a must
Results driven with full accountability for actions.
Strong sense of urgency with maintaining and excelling production timing
Ability to motivate and empower employees.
Results driven to achieve excellence.
Ability to gain confidence in a broad range of people.
Ability to analyse situations and determine cause, effect and resolution plan.
Ability to implement new Policies and Procedures
