About the position
Reporting to our Allied Health Manager and as part of our leadership team, this role’s dual purpose is to be an OT Team Leader and a therapist working with our NDIS clients.
The Occupational Therapist part of this role is to improve the lives of people with a disability by
Managing your own caseload in line with NDIS policy and procedure,
Working closely with NDIS participants to improve their independence and achieve their goals and
Delivering quality outcomes for clients.
The Team Leader part of this role is to
Be a leader, role model, coach, and support for your OT team,
Encourage and foster an environment of learning, development, and excellence,
Work with your team to identify areas where you and Tashacare can support our people,
Lead by example and role model expected behaviour and our values of Excellence, Trust, Respect and Justice.
About you
You are passionate about making a real difference with people with a disability AND with your highly skilled and motivated team
You have clinical experience/qualifications as an Occupational Therapist
You have the confidence to ask for help, training and support
You will be able to manage your time balancing a clinical case load and leadership expectations
You understand the importance of being on site when possible to see and hear what is happening with your teams and be there to make a difference.
You have a car and license to travel to where are clients are.
