Our client based in Bulleen specialise in the manufacture, production and supply of various packaging-related products such as paperboard, plastic, and metal packaging products for a wide range of industries. They have multiple diverse sectors for their packaging such as food and beverage, healthcare, consumer goods and industrial products. They are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Warehouse General Hand/Packer to join their ever-growing Packing Technician team in mid-January 2024. This role would be for Day Shift Monday to Friday 7am - 3.56pm with a 9-day fortnight, every second Friday will be an RDO. About the Role:
General Hand Packing- packing product off the line
Basic Labouring tasks
Lifting from 5-25kg, any lifts that are over 16kg will be two man lifts
Operating a reciprocating Saws would be desirable - training provided if not
Operating the Saw machine - training provided after 6 months of employment
Assist with Rework of Products when required
Stocktake & Inventory Control
Complete any and all other trained tasks as required
Qualifications and Experience
Victorian Drivers License
Previous Warehouse Experience
Previous Machine Operating experience would be advantageous
Operating a reciprocating Saws would be advantageous
Sound knowledge of warehouse production activities
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral
Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines
