High Street Family Practice welcomes the opportunity for a Full Time Medical Practitioner to join their well respected and established Practice in central location.
This position requires a dedicated and caring Practitioner to provide preventative health care in a small family practice to complement and enhance their existing team.
Skills and Experience required:
• Previous GP experience
• Registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Austral
High Street Family Practice was established in 2009 and is well respected in the Launceston community. With 2 dedicated RN’s, a Practice Manager, Senior Receptionist, 2 full time and 1 part time Receptionists, who are invaluable to the smooth running of the Practice. In addition to the team, the Practice also have onsite Pathology and a Dietician visiting once a week
The Practice is committed to improving the health of their patients through continuous improvement in their services, by way of ongoing training and awareness of new opportunities that will enhance what they can offer. The care and needs of Patients always come first and have access to booking online appointments 24/7.
The Practice have a strong clinical lead, a caring dedicated Team and pride themselves on a positive, happy environment for staff and patients. With a very low turnover of staff , this reflects the great culture in the Practice. Centrally located close to CBD, Launceston General Hospital and Pharmacy’s, plus a stone throw from the beautiful City Park!
No weekend or evening requirement and a competitive remuneration package are on offer.

The practice is offering a competitive remuneration package based on percentage of earnings (with guaranteed minimum earnings for a non VR IMG of $100,000 per annum based on working full-time) and, welcomes discussions with potential candidates. VR Dr. will be offered competitive remuneration.
