Bendooley Estate is located in the Southern Highlands, an hour and a half south west from Sydney. The estate comprises a seven day ala carte lunch restaurant, cellar door, accommodation, two event venues and a retail outlet in Bowral.
The estate is well known for its great food, service and location. It is one of the most popular locations for a Highland wedding or lunch.
This position will be an integral part of ensuring the kitchen is producing consistently high quality food in an efficient and effective manner. Assisting and supporting the team will also form a large part of this role. The focus of this position will be in one of our kitchens, ala carte or functions, and will include working nights and weekends.
The right candidate for this position will have a proven, stable background having worked in kitchens at a chef d'partie level for at least 2-3 years. We will require someone with strong communication, planning and organisational skills along with the ability to work very well with a big team and at times under pressure.
