An exciting new opportunity for a Commercial Manager to play a crucial role in executing the commercial strategy and governance for a key Home Affairs contract in Toll Government and Defence’s Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) business.
As Commercial Manager you will lead contract and financial management matters ranging from customer and supplier contract management and negotiation of contract terms. You will provide commercial partnership and guidance to the contract manager and operations team, while supporting financial management of the contracts through timely and accurate insights.

Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with 4PL Contract managers to ensure Commercial excellence, including timely decisions affecting financial and risk management to deliver optimal financial performance.
- Participate in developing the strategies that support achievement of long-term strategic goals and short-term commitments, including development of innovative solutions across technology, systems, processes and policies.
- Building robust financial and contractual models when tendering for new business, requiring the ability to incorporate business costs and margins into formats applicable for tenders.
- Participate in contract development, negotiation, contract management, sub-contractor and supplier agreements, risk identification and mitigations in new and on-going programs of work.
- Provide financial forecasting, management and financial reporting to enable timely decisions.
- Establish targets for the business in the achievement of direct and in-direct benefits through areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement and identification/implementation of technology solutions.
