An opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused professional to join the Bega Cheese Heritage Centre’s team as a Hospitality Assistant. The Heritage Centre operates 7 days a week, providing café-style food, tourism retail & information services in a typically fast-paced environment, where first-class customer service levels are critical to success.
The successful appointee will work on a Permanent Part time basis which will include some weekends.
The Role
To provide an effective & efficient range of hospitality services & support to a first class professional standard.
Responsibilities
To assist with retail sales & other customer service support activities and provide exceptional customer service to ensure that our visitors enjoy a positive & memorable experience, whilst advocating the Bega brand.
Stock Control and merchandising.
Provide support to other team members
Monitoring and compliance of relevant industry, food safety,
WHS requirements & operational policies and procedures
Assist to organise, cook, prepare, present & provide a range of fresh, creative café style food & beverages with a focus on local products
About You
Previous experience in a hospitality, tourism or related environment;
A customer-focused team player;
Well organised, with excellent communications skills;
A flexible, reliable, energetic, & resilient nature;
Sound literacy & numeracy skills;
