JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a Permanent Basis at our Tennyson Location (Brisbane). This role offers you the opportunity to provide accounts support to the wider business and contribute to a productive and efficient operations environment by completing accounts payable processes from receiving and invoices to processing pay runs.
Key Responsibilities and Job Requirements
This is a Permanent role, 7.6 x 5 hours per week (8am Starts)
Reconcile and enter invoices for various accounts, and also raise weekly invoices for various customers
Ensure invoices are properly authorised and matched to the relevant supporting documentation
Code invoices to the correct accounts and prepare month-end supplier account reconciliations
Process and reconcile invoices for periodic payment runs
Coordinate petty cash including processing periodic journals and reconciliations
Maintain up-to-date and accurate supplier records and Resolve supplier queries, including investigating outstanding invoices
Assist in the preparation of statutory schedules and month-end journaling
Generate reports and update spreadsheets regularly
Accounts Payable knowledge and experience is a mandatory requirement for this role
Must also have experience in data entry and be able to use Microsoft Excel to a professional standard
Whilst experience in a similar role in Transport would be ideal, we welcome applicants with Accounts Payable experience from any field or industry. Training and support will be provided in this role.
