About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to commence immediately at our Townsville based Location. This is a Full Time, Permanent Opportunity to join our team and apply your experience by coordinating and loading general freight for our local and regional customers and clients.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
This is a Full Time Permanent Role: You will be rostered 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week
Overtime is available with this role and will be offered on a need by need basis
You must hold a valid LF Forklift License.
Must be flexible to work on a Rotating Roster
Must have previous experience in a similar role
Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
Loading and unload general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner
Be able to handle freight items manually and safely as required
Be able to use technology to an efficient standard and be able to operate inhouse scanner devices
Ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained accordingly
Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy

Remuneration: $29.64 Per Hour
Overtime Available: Overtime Rates apply outside of Regular Working Hours
