As a Chef/Cook at South Tweed Sports, you will play a crucial role in crafting the culinary delights that keep our customers coming back for more. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes, ensuring that they meet our high standards of taste and presentation. Your creativity and attention to detail will shine as you collaborate with our kitchen team to deliver memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to established recipes and standards.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate with the chef or manager to order supplies as needed.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar culinary setting.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
- Food Handler's Certification or equivalent is a plus.
