As a full-time XPON Technologies Data Analytics Client Lead (Google Analytics 360) you will:

The Data Analytics Client Lead AU/NZ is a critical function in the XPON Technologies team. This role reports directly to the Head of Martech AU/NZ and is responsible for leading Martech projects and clients within AU/NZ, and mentoring a team of Data Analytics Specialists in deploying best practice Enterprise Analytics and tagging solutions & systems to XPON Technologies’ clients. This role will liaise with clients, set the strategy, and drive the implementation of their GA 360 and customer data platform (CDP).

In this role you will:
- Partner with key client and internal stakeholders in order to understand the client's business goals and vision, identify system requirements and document these in functional technical solutions across Enterprise Analytics and tagging solutions & systems, as well as our CDP (Wondaris)
- Lead and deliver client projects including utilising XPON's project management tools and techniques (including Jira)
- Work with cross functional teams to deliver best practice functional solutions, including developing and utilising system test plans to ensure a high quality system is delivered to our clients
- Manage resources within projects, including allocating tasks to onshore and offshore resources
- Provide input into retention and growth opportunities.
- Provide pricing and resource estimates for client projects
- Understand and translate complex business requirements into a functional technical architecture that can be implemented and activated by clients.
- Manage delivery of solutions by working collaboratively with Google GMP teams, XPON Technologies teams, and Delivery partners.
- Create data layer specification documents to be implemented by Client side developers
- Develop and maintain product knowledge about core competencies of Google technologies and other industry technology solutions, including being a key source of information for project decision making.
- Conduct GA4 system training and develop supporting material
- Conduct audits to understand and document the current state of the client's technology, identify efficiencies and recommend optimal business processes and system enhancements.
- Serve as the technical leader for XPON Technologies’ clients, with regards to programmatic advertising, analytics, measurement, attribution, reporting and marketing activation strategies.
- And any such additional duties as assigned to you from time to time.
- Onboard and train clients on our customer data platform (Wondaris).
- Build and maintain Data visualisations dashboards for client’s reporting and insights requirements

About you

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience working with GA 360, GTM, Google Data studio, Google Cloud platform, Wondaris CDP and also have extensive capability with Javascript & SQL/BQ. This will give you the required background to implement, optimise and analyse the performance of a client's organisation, including identifying future possibilities.

Critical skills and experience you will need are:
- Extensive skills (at least 4 years experience) in Javascript and SQL (ideally also Google BigQuery).
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (at least 2 years).
- 4 years of experience with troubleshooting and testing web/app tracking and datalayers.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Marketing Platform (DV360,SA360,CM360) systems and web analytics solutions.
- Experience with programmatic analytics, attribution and measurement methodologies.
- Have a minimum of a bachelor degree
- Have a good understanding of Cloud for Marketing frameworks to modernise and build efficiency through automations
- Have Customer Data Platform (CDP) experience, including onboarding and training clients (preferred Wondaris)
- Be an expert in Cloud technology specifically Google BQ Importantly you will also have:
- Experience working with Enterprise Clients, supporting complex technical challenges, identifying knowledge gaps and solutions to
up-skill technical knowledge.
- Experience with Google Data Studio and/or Power BI, Tableau and other data visualisation tools.
- Good communication/presentation skills to explain technical solutions and findings in a clear manner to stakeholders at all levels.
- Exposure to Tealium (highly regarded).
- Exposure to Cloud platforms for marketing technology such as GCP & AWS (highly regarded).

Your technical skills and experience cover the following:
Deep understanding of Google Marketing Platform, in particular:
- Google Analytics (360 and standard)
- Google Tag Manager
- Google Ads
- Google Data Studio

Strong technical comprehension of digital marketing and data privacy ecosystems including:
- Technical platform integrations (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google DV360, Campaign Manager, etc)
- Conversions & optimizations
- Reporting and data visualisations
- Attribution models & frameworks
- 1st party data strategies

Deep understanding of web and app analytics:
- Audit
- Analytics systems setup & maintenance
- Tagging solutions (eg: GTM)
- User & session models
- Custom dimensions & reporting
- Customer segmentation for reporting & activation (ie: audiences)
