KGS Landscaping is hiring a full time gardener to join our growing team. From everyday garden maintenance to assisting with remodels and designs, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend their skills on the job.
About the role
Position: Gardener
Location: Easter Suburbs of Sydney and surrounding areas
Salary: $70,000.00 per year plus superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week.
This role involves all aspects of general garden maintenance such as;
? Mowing, reseeding and irrigating lawns
? Seeding, trimming and watering flower beds
? Hedge management
? Laying turf & top soil
? Understanding & implementing the needs and requirements of varied plants including spraying, fertilisation and other treatments
You will be responsible for:
• Designing and implementing creative and sustainable garden plans.
• Selecting and cultivating a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs.
• Conducting soil analysis and implementing appropriate fertilisation and watering schedules.
• Providing advice on plant care, pest control, and disease management.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their preferences and vision for their outdoor spaces.
• Maintaining a high level of horticultural knowledge and staying updated on industry trends.
The successful candidate will have:
• Proven 3+ years’ experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture.
• Certificate III or IV in Gardening beneficial but not required if you have 3+ years’ experience;
• Strong knowledge of plant species, soil health, and sustainable gardening practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
• Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
