This role can be based anywhere in Australia
Role Purpose
Salesforce Developer perform requirements analysis. They then lead design, develop or maintain the physical application (components)or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Salesforce Technical Lead also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and / or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments
Role Description
You are an experienced Salesforce Developer. You have received training and mastered at least one technology environment. You are good at elaborating technology areas and have an ability to position them within the scope of an overall project. You are a member of at least one community. Certification: Has or seeking SE level 1.
You will use your knowledge and experience related to creating Salesforce.com solutions, enterprise technical design, best practices and implementation of the Salesforce.com suite of products to enterprise clients. You will have core consulting skills combined with leading Salesforce.com technical competency and enterprise implementation experience with all core Salesforce.com tools, offerings and products
Responsibilities:
1. Software Engineering
Analyzes business requirements, business processes, and technical architectures. Designs and uses them as the basis for the Software Engineering solution.
Defines and analyses Software Engineering methods and advises on best fit solutions and techniques.
Develops expertise in Software Engineering Tools, Software Engineering Environment configuration and management, and Software Engineering Data Management.
Keeps up to date with trends, roadmaps and developments in all areas of Software Engineering.
Contributes to / develops good practice in Software Engineering techniques.
Applies productivity improvement techniques within the Software Architecture strategy.
Develops expertise in verification and validation at all stages of the delivery lifecycle.
2. Technical Solutions Design
Proposes technical solutions that meet or exceed client needs and expectations and complements delivery of Capgemini’s SLAs.
Synthesizes multiple requirements, ideas & solutions in order to manage complexity and deliver synergies.
Articulates the proposed solution and benefits accurately and persuasively, reflecting the client’s interests or concerns.
Estimates maintenance costs that are realistic, based on effort required, value delivered, and client’s expectations.
Ensures that the solution aligns with Capgemini Group strategy.
3. Architecture Knowledge
Has a detailed understanding and knowledge of architecture.
Understands the architecture process and the role of the architect.
Understands the role of stakeholders and requirements.
Knows how to communicate about architecture.
Has knowledge of different methods and tools.
4. Testing
Analyzes business requirements, business processes, and technical architectures and designs. Uses them as the basis for the Testing solution.
Defines and analyses Testing methods and advises on best fit solutions and techniques.
Develops expertise in verification and validation at all stages of the delivery lifecycle.
Develops expertise in Impacting and Estimation, Test Planning, Management, and Control.
Develops expertise in Test Tools, Test Environment Configuration and Management, and Test Data Management.
Speaks knowledgeably of relevant testing processes and management during client discussions.
Keeps up to date with trends and developments in all areas of Testing.•
5. Business Analysis
Undertakes analysis of user and business requirements, with particular regard to their impact on existing systems and environments and produce an appropriate business and / or system design.
Assists in the construction and implementation aspects of delivery.
6. Business Knowledge
Has a (deep) understanding of the business and business processes.
Knows how business processes are integrated and their dependency upon / relations with ICT applications.
7. Data Management
Is able to normalize / cleanse data.
Understands how to manage data from disparate data sources.
Maintains data integrity.
Personal Specifications
Experience and Qualifications:
Demonstrate proven extensive knowledge levels and acumen specific to understanding underlying client business problems and developing Salesforce technology-enabled solutions that addresses the needs of large organizations;
5+ years of experience working in a technical role (development, integration, migration, architecture) on multiple implementations.
Work with other members of the Corporate Salesforce team to implement customer-based solutions and develop applications on the Force.com and Lightening platform using Apex, Lightening Components (Aura and Web) and Visual Force Pages.
Develop, implement and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions and integrations.
Strong working knowledge and experience of (but not exclusive) of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Integrations, Configuration, Testing, DevOps, Security, LWC.
Ability to engage with senior clients in a business centric, business outcome-oriented dialogue.
Extensive knowledge and/or experience of Salesforce products including but not exclusively Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Vlocity and FSC Cloud.
Provide technical documentation as required for development work completed.
Ability to develop relationships and to coach a team of developers to deliver the most complex pieces of the implementation (custom coding);
Experience in managing integrations with MuleSoft or similar middleware’s.
Articulate possible technical solutions and reason why one or another solution should be chosen.
Ability to plan and execute a project to deliver a superior client experience.
Salesforce and other Cloud platform certifications, a distinct advantage.
Experience with Agile as Scrum Master is a plus.
Having experience in the Vlocity, Financial Services Cloud and Health cloud is a plus.
