Your new role You will be responsible for on-time delivery, planning, preparation, reviewing, and expediting documents for status progress updates and ensuring excellent customer service performance.
Liaise with operations and sales as required to effect timely and accurate supply of materials
Expedite supply of materials documentation and supplier status report
Create and maintain project tender/contract files
Expedite purchase orders, document delivery, efficient coordination and on-time delivery
Expedite sales contracts with suppliers reduce downtime and delays
Identify and solve ongoing supplier/contractor documentation issues
Communicate effectively with international and local suppliers, subcontractors and service providers
What you'll need to succeed
3+ years expediting experience
Exposure to Pipes, Valves, and Fittings is advantageous
ERP experience such as SAP
Strong experience with project expediting, supply and delivery, with a sound understanding of expediting and inspection functions
Solid understanding of industry practices and ability to develop expediting plans
Demonstrated ability at reading PO, technical specifications and data requirements
Hunger and drive to improve productivity in the company you work for
