The Consultant’s role is to provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximising growth or improving the business performance of Capgemini’s clients. This involves understanding the client’s organisation and enhancing their business through recommending better or more appropriate policies, processes, architectures and technologies.

Along with participating in presales presentations and workshop facilitation activities to contribute to the growth of Capgemini’s brand reputation and revenue generation. As a Consultant, you will be capable of working on your own, or as part of a team to successfully deliver client outcomes. You will take responsibility for the completion of project deliverables and tasks with minimal oversight by Senior Consultants and will be expected to input into key design and delivery decisions for specific programmes of work. As a Consultant, you will be asked to support junior colleagues.

This role can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.

Experience required:

• Demonstrable consulting experience with an excellent understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and best practices.
• Experience in consulting and implementation experience required in the respective product or solution. Demonstrable experience in analysis for system support, release and implementation and with practical product configuration and change management experience expected.
• Knowledge of and experience in Microsoft Dynamics solutions relating to supply chain
• A strong understanding of wider Microsoft technologies with the ability to present these and their benefits to existing and potential clients.
• Confidence working directly with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their vision.
• The willingness and ability to mentor others and share your knowledge with the wider team.

Success in this role looks like:

• Specifies user/system interfaces and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance requirements and existing systems.
• Produces detailed designs and documents all work using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
• Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management.
• Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships. Implements a communications strategy, including, for example, handling of complaints, problems and issues; managing resolutions; corrective actions and lessons learned; collection and dissemination of relevant information appropriately.
• Defines scope and business priorities for small-scale changes and may assist in larger scale scoping exercises.
• Elicits and discovers requirements from operational management and other stakeholders. Selects appropriate techniques for the elicitation of detailed requirements considering the nature of the required changes, established practice and the characteristics and culture of those providing the requirements.
• Specifies and documents business requirements as directed, ensuring traceability back to source.
• Analyses them for adherence to business objectives and for consistency, challenging positively as appropriate.
• Works with stakeholders to prioritise requirements.
• Takes responsibility for the application of appropriate quality and/or environmental management techniques.
• Recommends improvements to processes by changing approaches and working practices, typically using recognised models.
• Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. Identifies, evaluates and recommends options, implementing if required.
• Collaborates with, and facilitates or contributes to stakeholder groups, as part of formal or informal consultancy agreements. Exercises substation personal responsibility and autonomy ensuring client needs are addressed.


Qualifications (preferred):

• Relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Relevant tertiary level diploma or degree.
