Your new role
We have an opportunity for an experienced Mining Engineer to play an integral role in an exciting greenfield opportunity for a first Coal mine in the Galilee Basin.
Undertake short and medium term mine planning activities including mine designs and schedules to meet contract requirements
Build positive working relationships, coordinating with operations teams to develop plans, schedules and designs
Provide and deliver plans to operational personnel and monitoring progress against plan
Strategic planning, optimisation and monitoring of Drill and Blast activities
What you'll need to succeed
Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency
Bachelor of Engineering (Mining or Civil)
Experience in Coal Mining in a Mine planning/drill and blast role
Strong working knowledge of Vulcan, Deswik, Spry or equivalent software packages
Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
A current Queensland driver licence
