Retail Pharmacist
Our client an expanding pharmacy brand based in Delacombe regional Victoria, with more than 100 locations across QLD, NSW, SA, and VIC. are currently recruiting for a full time qualified and experienced Retail Pharmacist to join our experienced team.

As an aspiring and motivating retail pharmacist, the opportunity is available for you to make your mark and be involved in a local community. Provide advice and recommendations to patients/customers on medicines and medicinal products, under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Your key responsibilities:
* Receiving prescriptions, checking patients medicine histories, and ensuring optimal dosage and methods of administration and drug compatibility before dispensing.
* Preparing or supervising the preparation and labelling liquid medicines, ointments, powders tablets and other medications to fill prescriptions.
* Advising prescribers on drug incompatibility and contra-indications.
* Reviewing and monitoring the medicine therapy of individual patients and assessing the effectiveness of the total medicine therapy.
* Maintaining prescription files and recording issue of narcotics, poisons, and habit-forming drugs.
* Storing and preserving vaccines, serums, and other drugs subject to deterioration.
* Supplying non-prescription medicines, and diagnostic and therapeutic aids.
* Supervising and coordinating the work of Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Interns and Pharmacy Sales Assistants.
* Conducting research to develop and improve pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and related chemical products.
* Conferring with Chemists, Engineering Professionals and other professional about manufacturing techniques and ingredients.
* Testing and analyzing drugs to determine their identity, purity, and strength in relation to specified standards.
* Developing standards for drugs used in pharmaceuticals.
Skills and Experience:
You will have exceptional communications skills and the ability to work autonomously and make quick and effective decisions whilst maintaining focus on enriching our customer’s experience. You are knowledgeable in the back end operational requirements and confident in managing the day-to-day operations. You are known for your professional, efficient, and responsive approach towards all team members and have a proven background working effectively in a collaborative environment.
You have demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with both internal team members and external stakeholders. You are passionate about providing innovative customer experiences and thrive on fostering a culture of customer service excellence.
• Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration essential
• A sensitive and culturally safe ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
