About Client: -
Our client, Australia Disability Services Pty Ltd dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive community for individuals with disabilities. It offers a comprehensive range of services encompassing daily tasks, shared living, travel assistance, household chores, innovative community programs, specialized disability services, high-level personal activity assistance, life skills development, community engagement, therapeutic support, and group center activities.

Roles and Responsibilities: -
• Provide compassionate and holistic patient care, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of each individual.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses to interventions, and any changes in medical conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families during challenging times.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize electronic health record systems efficiently and accurately.
• Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations, applying critical thinking and life-saving interventions as needed.
• Advocate for patients' rights and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of ethical and high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in nursing practice.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in regular departmental meetings.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team activities and contributing to a culture of respect and professionalism.
• Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Skills and Attributes: -
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Willingness to embrace and support our organization's mission and values.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Empathy and a patient-focused approach to care.
• Time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

Job Type & Salary: -
• This is a full-time permanent job.
• The base salary will be AUD 75,000- AUD 80,000.

Working Hours: -
Availability to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
