We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Part Time Commis Chef to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis Chef at Hop & Huddle, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall culinary operations. You will work closely with our experienced chefs to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are consistently maintained.
The role will consist of breakfast & dinner shifts and conference catering.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, with a primary focus on smoked meats and local produce.
- Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special offerings.
- Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Head Chef and Demi Chef efficiently and effectively.
