The Purpose:
The Lead Analyst, Data Products and Services will understand the data and insights requirements of our Merchants and Members, and own the strategy, prioritisation and delivery of Data Products and Services to meet those needs. They will ensure that the team meets its delivery, financial and strategic goals.
You will be responsible for:
- Own the AP+’ client facing data strategy and delivery.
- Work closely with the commercial team and their Member and Merchant clients to deliver the strategy and grow Data Products and Services use across our client base.
- Work closely with the AP+ product owners on projects that integrate Data and Services with Scheme or Open Payment products into a single AP+ go to market.
- Manage the planning and delivery of projects with the Data Foundations Team and with internal and external analysts, taking a POC then Product approach.
- Work with data analysts and business analysts to maintain the master data catalogue and system documentation.
- Provide routine and ad hoc reports on the operational performance of Data Product and Services projects to highlight any trends, forecasts or risks that require management intervention and/or strategic solutions for further action.
In order for you to be successful in the role, you’ll have:
- 5+ years of experience in Data and Insights
- 3+ years of experience in Product and Portfolio Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or similar field.
- Excellent time management, negotiation, conflict management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- A proven ability to co-ordinate the tasks of yourself and others to meet business and project goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong ability to build productive and collaborative relationships with team members and business stakeholders.
- High attention to detail.
- A strong, demonstrated ability to use technological tooling to extract, analyse, and present data.
- Knowledge of BI tools, data platforms, technology and infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience preparing and reviewing project scope and business cases for projects with multiple interdependencies.
