Steel Group Australia is seeking an Experienced Spray Painter to join our team full time.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years work experience with Painting Structural Steel and Tank Refurbishments. Hold a valid C class license and be a Trade Qualified Painter.
Tasks will include:
· Spray Painting, protective coatings to the required specification
· Surface preparation, including colours and colour mixing
· Conversant in the handling, mixing and application of various coating systems
· Working in a team or unsupervised when required
· Ensuring proper use and maintenance of company machinery and reports any error, misuse or damage to the equipment
· Cleaning equipment and work areas
· Observe Company’s OHS Procedures & Policy
· Ability to pass a per-employment drug & alcohol screen
We offer a great working environment and competitive salary of $60,000 to $70,000 plus any additional overtime.
