LMI Group Investments is a mid-tier construction firm, we are looking for HDPE welding technicians for our current projects in Victoria.
We are recruiting Australia wide and will assist with interstate applicants. Currently, we are taking staff on in QLD, NSW and VIC.
HDPE Geomembrane Welding/ Plastics Technicians
Location: VIC, NSW and QLD

We have several HDPE, PVC and other Geomembrane Welding/ Plastics Technician positions available immediately for experienced welders and technicians.
What you will be doing:
Perform geomembrane welding unsupervised
Perform quality geomembrane welds that meet quality standards and expectations
Ensure wedge welding equipment is maintained and serviced
General installation of geomembrane liners, including deploying sandbags and assisting in the deployment of sheets of material as necessary
Due to the location and type of work you must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be physically fit.
What we are looking for:
Ok to travel (if projects are outside of Melbourne)
Operate on a 3 on 1 off roster - Longer work rosters available
You must be able to demonstrate a solid work history and experience working as a Geomembrane Technician
IAGI or TWI certification highly desirable
Current White Card or equivalent
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Be a recognised team player and can work in a team-based environment
Commitment and a good attitude towards safety and culture
Willingness to grow and develop within a dynamic, changing environment
Hold an all terrain forklilft license and be able to deploy geosynthetic materials is highly desirable
Understand and work to Workplace Health, Safety and Environment (WHS&E) requirements.
Personal protective equipment and uniform (including work boots) are provided.
