We are looking for Refrigeration Mechanics to join our site in Murarrie. Working alongside a team of experts, you will have an opportunity to learn from the best and work autonomously to complete various tasks.
Day to day you will be:
Servicing, completing repairs and maintenance work on refrigerated equipment
Using your problem-solving skills to come up with ideas to solve any issues that may arise
Handling breakdowns during both scheduled hours and the afterhours roster
Working independently or as a part of a team to complete work both onsite at Iceman and offsite at customer’s yards
Liaising with the customers to ensure that all work is complete to their expectations
Using your attention to detail to ensure your work is of good quality

Our requirements for the role are:
Refrigeration licence
Current QLD drivers licence
AQF Certificate III for an Aircon and Refrigeration Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience
Minimum 3 years experience
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams & refrigeration schematic drawings and diagrams
Diesel experience or willingness to work with diesel equipment
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Customer service skills
Restricted electrical ticket is desirable
Remuneration/Salary
$70, 000 to $85,000 per annum + Superannuation
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
