Full Time Position
$salary + superannuation
Responsibilities:
• Prepare for framing for cement
• Experience with large concrete pours
• Create cement forms
• Put up siding, drywalls and flooring
• Finish the roofing
• Build scaffolding
• Put up scaffolding
• Build other items as required
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
• Assist with the delivery of other related municipal services
• Lift and handle formwork components, such as frames, timber bearers, plywood sheets required for the erection and dismantling of the formwork
• Cut materials with hand and power tools, and assemble or nail, cut and shape parts
• Operate a nail gun
• Build trenches and shoring boxes
• Able to read plans and schedule work
Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Work as part of a team of carpenters
