Here’s what you’ll be doing:

The DTA has identified the business need for two project support officers to be engaged to support the AI in Government Taskforce. We are seeking energetic, passionate, and innovative project support Officers to support the AI in Government Taskforce. The successful candidates should have a proven track record in project support, consistently delivering projects on time and within budget. The candidates should be experienced in preparing high quality project management documents in alignment with best practice. The candidate should also possess effective negotiation and communication skills to support internal and external stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical skills, problems solving and organizational skills to manage competing priorities are essentials. The candidate must be a responsive, team player who provides exception administrative and project support to a high-profile project team. Candidates require a minimum baseline security clearance.

1. Demonstrate an ability to manage and support the development of project artefacts, including schedules, deliverables, risks and issues in tight timeframes.

2. Extensive experience in drafting and preparation of briefs, correspondence and reports including submissions for reporting to Senior Executives in government.

3. Demonstrate an ability to be collaborative and connected, form productive working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

4. Relevant qualifications in project support.
