Starting March 2024, 10 x Kitchen Hands are required for a Café based in Albany, Western Australia on an ongoing basis.
Duties will include:
- General cleaning duties within the kitchen, including cleaning cooking and general utensils used in a kitchen or restaurant;
- Assisting employees who are cooking;
- Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking;
- General pantry duties.
There is potential for staff to be up skilled in other areas of the kitchen or café, such as taking on cooking or customer service duties.
Usual hours will be Friday to Tuesday (Wednesdays and Thursdays are off). Staff must be available to work every Sunday.
Pay is in line with Level 2 under the Hospitality Industry Award (General) - $24.08 per hour plus penalty rates. Staff are employed on a full-time basis and work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Accommodation will be provided for applicants interested in relocating. The accommodation will be a shared house at a weekly rate of between $115 - $150 per person.
