Your day-to-day tasks would include
Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical and suspension issues
Performing servicing, mechanical and suspension repairs on most makes and models.
Carrying out wheel alignments, wheel balancing and other wheel/suspension-related services
Fitting, rotating and servicing tyres
Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
Safely operating hoists and other workshop equipment
Conducting road tests as required
About You
As an integral part of the team, you'll bring your previous experience and strong work ethic along with being/having:
Certificate 3 in Automotive Technician (Light) Minimum 3 years experience
Valid Australian driver's licence
Availability to work a minimum of every second Saturday
Vast mechanical/tyre knowledge across a range of vehicle brands and types
Strong Diagnostic skills and a keen eye for detail.
Full Australian Work Rights
Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight.
Follow correct procedures and guidelines.
Willing to undertake ongoing training and development.
Sound knowledge and adherence to WH&S policies and procedures
Be able to work individually or in a team environment.
A friendly and approachable personality with a “can do” attitude.
