Layers Bakery is now looking for a passionate and reliable Head Baker to join our small familial bakery.
We are a small artisan Bakery located in Subiaco. Everything is made in house from scratch including sourdough bread, pastries, cakes, pies..
Qualification & Experience
A minimum of 3 years or more verifiable work experience as baker and 1 year as head baker
Experience in sourdough & hand molding bread essential
Must have a genuine enthusiasm for baking and creating
Be punctual, reliable, highly organized and detail-oriented
Tasks & Responsabilities
Plan, schedule and supervise bakery production.
Daily production, baking and preparing of bakery products
Product testing, menu development and produce/ ingredient sourcing
Ordering of stock, stock organisation and rotation
Maintaining quality and quantity control in accordance with established standard
Full time
5 day working week (Tuesday - Saturday)
All applicants will need access to reliable transport as we do start early (3:00 am)
