Salary Between $70,000 and $80,000

We are seeking highly motivated, self-starters to join our team as a Project Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager with at least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in our workshops at various locations across Australia. The criteria for this position is as outlined below:

Essential
• Experienced in engineering calculations design, reports, estimating, planning and management of
• The manufacture of heavy and high precision engineering equipment;
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and execute the actions required within an ERP system;
• The ability to liaise effectively with customers and vendors;
• The ability to work and manage jobs as part of a team in high pressure situations.
• studying functional statements, organisational charts and project information to determine
• functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication;
• establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation;
• analysing workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data and production schedules and costs
• to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies;
• designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, products for manufacture, and plant and systems for construction;
• developing specifications for manufacture, and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows,
• capacities and layout of plant and systems;
• organising and managing project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment;
• establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations;
• inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained;
• directing the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules.

Qualification
• Associates at least an Australian bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent degree accredited by Engineers Australia;
• Proficient computer skills, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, CAM, Windows, Word and Excel;
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork skills;
• Able to work with limited supervision, follow directions, willingness to learn and results oriented while maintaining attention to detail
