Position: Sous Chef (ANZSCO 351311)
Location: Forbes, NSW
Salary: $70,000 ~ $80,000 plus Superannuation

Our client Forbes Inn Hotel Motel, located in Forbes, offers a spacious venue with the town's largest beer selection and a variety of local wines. Their renowned restaurant has served a mix of Thai and modern pub dishes for 18 years. Catering to guests, locals, and tourists in New South Wales, they provide excellent dining in their bistro and event hosting in their function suites.
As a Chef, your responsibilities will include:
-Overseeing and directing the food preparation process
-Managing team schedules and controlling food costs
-Supervising day-to-day kitchen operations
-Leading, training, developing, and inspiring your team while instilling company values
-Creating and delivering delectable meals
-Coordinating equipment repairs or maintenance as needed
-Demonstrating strong knowledge of breakfast and dinner menus
-Fostering a positive attitude, good team spirit, and the ability to work effectively under
pressure
-Exhibiting excellent communication (verbal & written), organizational, time, and
resource management skills
-Planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies
-Adhering to nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards and regulations
To qualify for this role, you must have:
-A relevant qualification in the culinary field
-Prior experience in a similar role
-The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
