About the Team:

The ANZ Global e-commerce team is expanding rapidly. We are looking for Business Development Managers who will develop markets, source leads, convert customers, and grow our brand locally. Our focus is on various payments verticals, including Digital, Travel, Subscription, Regulated sectors, and Retail. Our goal is to provide best-in-class payment solutions and drive innovation to give our clients a competitive advantage.

What You Will Do:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by selling our products and/or services to new clients in your market and vertical. You will manage the entire sales cycle from generating prospects to signing contracts and processing transactions for new merchant accounts.

  • Develop sales plans and strategies
  • Sell products and/or services and build new client relationships
  • Build a network of potential clients
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers to promote FIS products and/or services
  • Collaborate with a sales team to target key accounts
  • Effectively manage the pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Understand the end-to-end Ready, Execute, Deliver ("RED") sales process and work with internal stakeholders to progress deals
  • Demonstrate knowledge of our products, markets, and competitors
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients using FIS resources and tools
  • Negotiate and close opportunities that meet customer expectations
  • Achieve sales goals and objectives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Experienced professional with full understanding of your expertise
  • General knowledge of financial and payment solutions technology
  • Analytical skills to identify client needs and requirements
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills to persuade clients to choose Worldpay
  • Proven sales track record, involvement in industry trade groups preferred
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of management, employees, clients, and the public
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • 8-10 years of experience in business development or payments
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and ever-changing industry
  • Ability to work hard and have fun!
