About the Team
The FIS Australasia technology team comprises of over 60 people based in Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, and India. We offer different working options, including in-office, hybrid (office/home), and remote work opportunities.
About the Role
As a member of our technology team, you will work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment. Your responsibilities will include deploying and maintaining new technology stacks and server infrastructure, managing networks and cloud connectivity, and ensuring we meet our customers' needs. Specifically, you will work with the project delivery team to set up new server deployments with various applications and connectivity requirements. Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, implement, and maintain systems
Work on large, complex systems in multiple technical environments
Monitor system usage and optimize performance
Analyze technical issues and propose solutions
Evaluate and recommend software products
Automate manual tasks through scripting or application development
Enhance system reliability and performance
Maintain a stable and secure systems environment
Manage SSL/TLS Certificates
Assist in software deployment
Participate in on-call rotation for escalations
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Linux/System Administration
Mid-Senior level experience with Linux Operating System (preferably RedHat)
Proficiency in scripting (Perl / Bourne)
Working knowledge of VMWare
Experience with SSL/TLS Certificates, public key infrastructure (PKI), and certificate life cycle management
Understanding of TCP/IP, network monitoring tools, and technical writing principles
Knowledge of IT security concepts and hands-on vulnerability remediation
Analytical, problem-solving, installation, and maintenance skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience
Experience with Kafka, Redhat openshift, and Kubernetes
Familiarity with F5, JBoss, Ansible, Containers (e.g. Docker, Podman), Nagios, and Splunk
Experience with ITSM processes using Jira or SNOW
Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related hardware
