As a member of our Product Specialist team, you'll play a crucial role in providing excellent support to our clients. This involves addressing both technical and non-technical customer queries. We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and has a background in technical or customer support. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. You should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This role is suitable for someone who is proactive and enjoys working with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive support for Turnitin products primarily through email, and occasionally through phone and live chat.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Product Management to resolve product issues and manage releases.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers and different cultures.
- Assist in translating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation for our products.
- Support other strategic initiatives as needed.
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in a customer support role.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, set priorities, work independently, and perform under pressure.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of one or more Operating Systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material and demonstrate excellent judgement.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard, Moodle, Canvas, or D2L.
- Understanding of web technologies and Software as a Service (SaaS).
