Technical Project Managers leverage strong technical project management skills, industry knowledge, and leadership experience to manage cross-functional projects dedicated to ensuring the successful onboarding of Square’s largest and most complex customers. This role will be responsible for working with sellers throughout the discovery and onboarding journey to ensure sellers are optimally scoped, educated, setup and trained to leverage the potential of Square’s platform.
You Will:
- Assist in the scoping, planning, and execution of implementations involving complex system integrations; advise on limitations and capabilities to ensure a complete picture/vision is delivered to prospective sellers
- Have a deep understanding of Square’s Platform and Products and how they interact with merchant-facing APIs
- Create and manage multiple complex projects across many merchants at once, often with competing timelines and requiring resource prioritization.
- Develop relationships with teams within Sales & Account Management and our closest stakeholders within Customer Support, Automation, and Product.
- Be able to work with technical partners and explain technical requirements.
- Identify and address potential obstacles during the onboarding process, manage stakeholder communication accordingly, and create strategies for driving success.
- Perform data entry and migration functions as part of the on-boarding process for select sellers.
- Strategically optimize all aspects of the ERP seller on-boarding process through the routine evaluation of standard procedures, internal tools, training resources, partner relationships, and product developments.
- Identify and present themes in seller feedback and industry trends to Solutions Engineers, PMs, GMs, and executives on a regular quarterly cadence.
