Full Time Cath Lab - Scrub/Scout Nurse
About us Melbourne Private Hospital is a 124 bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit. Our catheter laboratory department consists of two labs, one specialising in Interventional cardiology and structural heart procedures, the other specialising in world renown Electrophysiology procedures and pacing. Our team is looking for a highly motivated and reliable experienced registered nurse, with a minimum of 2 years' catheter lab specific scrub/scout experience. You will be someone who thrives in a busy environment, with good communication skills, who can work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, while delivering high quality nursing care. We offer comprehensive orientation and the opportunity for professional development and post graduate studies. We are offering a full time position with on call requirement. Essential Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Minimum of 2 year's Registered Nurse- Cath Lab experience
Post Graduate qualifications preferred
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Works well independently and within a team
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic computer skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant experience against the current Enterprise Agreement: Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses and Midwives Agreement 2021 - 2025 (industrial Agreement). (Salaries range from $35.33per hour to $47.25 per hour).
