Trade up to your new role Your new company Our client is a family owned and operated business and a leading interior supplier in the Canberra market, supplying key clients in the Canberra ACT trade market. They have multiple locations across Australia and are a respected and reliable supplier to many big players in the industry. Your new role Your role will be based in the factory. You will be responsible for trimming and preparing custom windows and doors, fabricating aluminium windows and doors, operating the CNC machine (computer numerical control) using power and hand tools and other custom duties as needed. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in a similar position or environment. Have a carpentry, joinery or cabinet-making background.
Trade qualified or a long tenure in a similar role
CNC machine experience (highly regarded)
Trade experience, routing and preparing doors
LF Forklift ticket (beneficial not required)
White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness (beneficial not required)
What you'll get in return
Monday to Friday (7:00am -3:30pm)
$40 to $50 per hour (depending on prior experience)
One location for work and own workspace (factory based)
Good company with a good working culture
Overtime available
