About the role
We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Process Control Technician to join the team for various field service & maintenance works within the gas & power industry. The role will involve the servicing & installation of electrical control systems, PLC programming & SCADA control systems for large gas engines as well as servicing, maintenance & overhauling of large gas engines & power station equipment within Australia. The right candidate must be able to travel locally within Sydney, rural NSW & interstate when required.

Skills and experience
Trade qualifications, with at least two years’ experience post qualification
Experience working on electrical control equipment, PLC & plant SCADA systems is an advantage but not essential.
Electrical licence or NREL licence would be an advantage.
Ability to studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings
Ability to read Electrical schematics & P&ID drawings
Available to travel & work away from home with short notice.
