About the Role
Site based role supporting AGL’s North Brown/Bluff wind farm

Responsible for safe and reliable operation and maintenance of AGL’s fleet of wind farms, our Service Technicians are the backbone of our wind fleet.
In your new role of Wind Service Technician, you will conduct scheduled servicing and repairs and assist with inspection and monitoring of AGL’s North Brown/Bluff wind farms. You will be supported by a well-staffed site of fellow Service Technicians, HV Operators/Senior Technicians, a Lead Technician and dedicated Site Supervisor as well as AGL’s extensive network of eBOP staff, operations, engineering, and other support functions.

What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Site Operations Supervisor, you will:
Perform scheduled wind turbine maintenance servicing and repairs.
Conduct periodic inspections, monitoring and reporting on asset condition.
Upholding the highest standards of health, safety and environmental care, including participation in shift start toolboxes, hazard identification and proactive risk management activities.
About You

What you’ll bring to the table
Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification (preferred) along with HV certification, Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training, qualifications in working at heights, safety, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness and/or first aid would be advantageous.
Experience as a technician in the operations and maintenance of wind farms (strongly preferred) or other similar power generation/industrial sites.
Willingness to work at heights and in confined environments.
Valid South Australian Driver’s license.
