Risk Institutional - Operational Risk & Compliance The primary purpose of this role is to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to drive a risk management approach. Role responsibilities:
Maintaining a relevant system and implementing operational risk control.
Design control testing and ensure the implementation process.
Attend relevant business risk, governance forums, Working Group meetings to highlight operational risks and controls to be taken into account.
Provide recommendations for improvement to processes and procedures.
Support operations team in developing and implementing effective controls and monitoring tools to ensure compliance within guidelines.
Perform objective review and challenge of business risk and control activities, new and product variations, project and BAU initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in risk control and testing and process improvement.
Minimum 5-7 years into operational risk management into market business.
Tertiary qualified, proven experience in Operational risk, Audit and/or Assurance related disciplines
Strong knowledge of market business and end-to-end processes and experience with the ability to review and challenge effectively.
