Job Summary: As a Technical Sales Representative for our tire franchise, specializing in mining and government contracts, you will be at the forefront of our expansion into specialty tires. This role demands a dynamic individual with a strong technical background in tires, coupled with exceptional sales and marketing skills. You will be responsible for developing marketing materials, conducting competitor research, building relationships, and optimizing our online presence to promote specialty tire products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy and Campaign Development:
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to promote specialty tire products and services.
• Create engaging marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure the seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
2. Competitor Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough competitor research to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
• Analyse market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for brand positioning, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on competitive analysis.
3. Relationship Building:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including key stakeholders in the mining and government sectors.
• Work closely with clients, partners, and vendors to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Digital Marketing Optimization:
• Execute digital marketing campaigns to promote specialty tire products.
• Create and manage digital materials, including website content, social media posts, and email campaigns.
• Optimize the company's online presence to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
5. Event Planning:
• Plan and coordinate events to showcase specialty tire products, including industry conferences, trade shows, and customer appreciation events.
• Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution and maximize opportunities for networking and customer acquisition.
Qualifications:
• Suitable certification or relevant experience
Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
Skills:
• Strong analytical skills for competitor research and market analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
