We are looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals to join our growing team. As a Lift Mechanic you will be required to design, install, repair, service and maintain hydraulic vertical passenger and freight lifts.
Main duties and responsibilities:
To undertake the install, repair, and maintenance of vertical lifts, escalators using hand and power tools.
Load vehicles, deliver and safely package product.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of system components, frameworks, and foundations, and to select installation equipment.
Cut prefabricated sections of framework, rails, and other components to specified dimensions.
Build temporary supports (formwork with cages) for installing lift in the shaft.
Trace and diagnose faults with electrical test devices and get the issues repaired or faulty parts replaced.
Save detailed records of all maintenance and repair tasks
Report to the site supervisor of all installation issues and formulate a plan with supervisor to complete the installation within contractual obligations and company quality objectives.
Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Experience:
Appropriate qualifications and two years' experience in the same industry are required. Skilled workers with more than 5 years’ experience are prioritised.
Work hours and Salary:
38 hours per week. $70,000 to $80,000 depending on the skills.
