Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

About the Team

The core focus of our team is to prove out the power of Canva within recognizable Global Brands and Enterprise customers. Business owners are looking to move away from outdated systems and time-consuming design processes, and we aim to serve by empowering them with the ability to build better products and stories.

About the Role

We are looking for a Partner Success Lead who will lead a team of Account Managers who will work closely with service agency partners. These partners will be delivering professional services such as design work and training to help our customers unlock the full potential of Canva.

As you will be the first hire for the this team, you will be responsible for onboarding the first cohort of partners, building out scalable processes and playbooks for future Partner Success Managers, and at the same time forming a team of Partner Success Managers.

The Partner Success Lead will be an experienced leader with an outstanding account management background. They can build strong relationships with priority customers and partners, understanding how to meet their needs while driving forward Canva’s objectives. They will also be able to partner effectively with other stakeholders across Canva to help optimise the program and ensure we are servicing our partner needs and growing impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and leading a team of Partner Account Managers, being responsible for their growth and development and ensuring they are high performers.
  • Initially, as the first hire for the team, you will be responsible for identifying and introducing the first cohort of partners to the program, which will be involved building out a target list of potential partners, conducting outreach, introducing new partners to the program and highlighting the opportunities and value proposition of the program
  • Onboard new partners, which involves providing them with necessary training and encouraging partners to take action
  • Conduct regular calls with partners, provide ongoing mentor & feedback to ensure partners are successful in services implementation
  • Assist with any partner questions and resolve any escalations along the way
  • Reporting back on the success of partners in the program to wider stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • You have demonstrated experience in leading direct reports, including being responsible for performance management and team happiness
  • You possess exceptional leadership skills, balancing empathy with a dedication culture
  • You have a consistent track record of account management, leading multiple partner/client relationships with high happiness rates
  • You have experience working in account management / sales for a B2B SaaS company
  • You are confident in relationship building, able to build trust with partners and ensure they are supported
  • You have experience working with different collaborators, keeping calm under pressure, working well with others and communicating clearly - in a team or training environment
