Position details

  • Part-Time (0.6FTE), Maximum Term, Parental Leave coverage position until 21 May 2025
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 3 with a salary range of $71,215 - $76,353 per annum pro rata + Superannuation

About your new role

The Operational Support Officer will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services provided to consumers by ensuring that staff and service users receive administrative support that is flexible and responsive to their needs.

The position will ensure the effective delivery of administrative tasks, including the management of appointment systems, billing and medical records, database management, operational meetings, and Microsoft Office applications.

The position will be integral to the overall functioning and delivery of mental health and well-being services to adults and their families and carers attending the Centre.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including email and internet) and proven experience working in a computerised environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced abilities with Microsoft Excel
  • Data Entry and data analysis skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and analyse tasks
  • Sound written and verbal communications skills
  • The necessary skills to build relationships with team members
  • Proven experience in being able to cope with change and adapt to ambiguous situations

What the role requires

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check – required before commencement of work
  • Current drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
